Rockwell Center - Makati
Rockwell Center Shopping Review

I used to know Rockwell (well, Power Plant Mall to be exact) like the back of my hand. Why? It's so because our Pilot Branch of Crepes de France was launched there and we stayed there for three and a half years (including construction).

As tenants, we might've had a bad experience, but as shoppers, you might have a different view. Well, I'm a shopper myself.

Hmmm, the prices here are slightly expensive than the rest of the malls. Wait, who am I kidding? Their prices at the Power Plant Mall are way expensive than the other malls here, because it caters to the AB crowd and the AB crowd wannabees. ;D Yet, there's the Hawkers' Market and The Bargain Centers too.

There's also a lot of Dining Areas to choose from and a grocery store with fresh produce (they do daily inventory of their stock). There are lots of boutiques, places where kids can play, a sports center, lots of high rise residential areas, offices, clinics, The Rockwell Club (exclusive), a place where you can hold receptions, art galleries, antique shops, wedding needs, appliance centers, etcetera.

The Ateneo Law School is also here.

For lovers, the atmosphere is also good for a stroll. =)

The Ayala Museum - Makati
The Ayala Museum Ayala Museum Review

Okay, I won't give a lengthy description...just go to their official website by clicking this line.

I love going to this place because I always learn a lot about our history and I could buy several memorabilia here. This is a place where I can really appreciate art and just across it is a wonderful, wonderful cafe (just wait for my review about the Art shop & cafe later...)

The building is also fantastic...at least through my eyes and at night (I haven't captured it well), I love the way the colors change.

Please visit this place when you're in Makati... =)

A Walk along Greenbelt Park - Makati
A Walk along Greenbelt Park

For a minute (or a little while longer) you'll forget that you're in the middle of the city...it's a place for everyone (lovers, families, religious folks and others). At the Makati Avenue side, there's a Zen like garden, trees, flowers, greens and so much more....near the church of Sto. Nino de Paz there are ponds filled with fish and some ducks waddling around ;p. Near the bridges are beautiful orchids. It's so peaceful...yes, serene. It's a glorious feeling walking around there (most especially when there are fewer people)
