...just some tidbits about this City.
*Paranaque is part of Metro Manila, so we could be also be called Manileneans or Paraqueans....but wait, we're not talking about Paranaque, but the City of Manila =)
*This is one of the oldest CITIES in our country
*There are lots and lots and lots and lots of hotels here (and yet when the Mega Storm called Milenyo attacked, all were fully booked)
*The old China Town is located here (Binondo). Our First Filipino-Chinese Saint, San Lorenzo Ruiz, was from here
*There's a mix of rich, poor, super poor, middle class, upper class, elite living here.
*Although there are still a lot of places than can cause our eyes to be sore, the incumbent Mayor, Lito Atienza, has made a lot of major improvements
*You surely don't want to miss visiting this illustrious place when you tour our country |
