"What can I say?" a New York City Travel Page by Bunsch

Everybody loves New York. Or they say so, anyway. I like it, but I have to confess that I find it overwhelming. There is just so much to do, and so many things to see, and all of it costs so much! I make a lot of visits to the City because my older son lives and works there, and because I love theater and great music and museums, all of which are available (in profusion). But I try to limit myself to exploring a specific neighborhood, on foot if possible, so that I can get a better sense of what life is actually like. So I've seen some really fascinating things, and I'll try to share some of them with my fellow VT'ers.

A surprising number of people don't realize that you can walk across the Brooklyn Bridge -- and you get fantastic views of the City while doing so! Not to mention all the good stuff you can do/buy/eat on either side of the river!
