Hot air balloons are magical!

Some of my friends embarked upon voyages of discovery...boating down the Amazon or the Nile...and some climbed lofty mountains on various continents. When I hit the milestone birthday which catapulted me into the best decade of my life, I wanted to incorporate bits of both discovery and loftiness, so I decided to try my luck with a hot air balloon. Albuquerque is the capitol of ballooning, host to an annual festival which sees hundreds of balloons launch in waves, so my serendipitous visit provided a venue for my own small adventure. It was fabulous!
