Have just returned from my amazing holiday to Dubai, London, Italy, Greece and the usual stopover in Singapore.

I will be creating pages for these destinations shortly, when time allows. I took 1,978 photos and yes my finger needs a vacation too now !

I have loaded one new picture just to give you a taste of things to come.

I have been to Egypt four times over the years.

It's a must see destination, Cairo is frantic, hectic and noisy and I love it.
If you want to stay very close to the pyramids then the Mena House Hotel may be the place for you. For me however, it will always be the Four Seasons.

Luxor is so interesting, the Temple of Karnak will blow you away, as will the tombs in the Valley of The Kings on the other side of the Nile.

Aswan is simply stunning and I always feel at home there. The Old Cataract Hotel is "the" place to stay.

And then there is Abu Simbel, a temple that was raised and rebuilt with amazing precision....well, almost!!!!

For the diver....umm that's me the Red Sea is, awesome, incredible.....!

I found the people generous and friendly and ready to open their homes to me.

Well, what can I say.......

The diversity of each island is fabulous.......

From the palm fringed beaches, white sand, wonderful resorts, enless casinos, great night life, the Caribbean has it all.

The diving is another story. I have dived many a time here from different islands with completely different experiences.
Manta rays, barracuda, sharks and my gorgeous moray eels.......it's a dream!

We are indeed lucky as Aussies to have such an incredible treasure on our doorstep.

The GBR offers so much for all people.

There are some of the most beautiful islands just off the coast of Queensland. Snorkelling and diving is a must do, but if you're not partial to getting wet, there are subs and glass bottom boats.

Sailing up here is out of this world. My personal favourite is a bare boat charter around the Whitsunday Islands......simply the best.

I simply loved Africa. Remember when you are walking around Vic Falls that you are going to get soaked !!!!

Also visited Kenya, Zimbabwe, Zanzibar, Amboseli, Masai Mara & Sun City...

I will return
Africa is a country that will stay in your heart and soul.

One of my favourite places.
The Scenery, the mountains, the skiing... I love everything about this place.

Saying that though, Austria and Germany are all time favourites as well.

Bottom line.......there is not one place on earth that I have been that I have not enjoyed or found a positive for going there......just one happy traveller!

Nice view from the Sheraton. Very relaxing stay on the way back from Canada.

I dived on a wreck that was not the best I have dived on but the green sea turtles were beautiful. One kept kissing me and had the most gentle eyes. Saw some great moray eels, one decided to make a home in my vest........!
Spent 3 days here, not enough, even though I had been before!

Travelled from Europe after four months on the road over there.
Stayed with friends in Calgary who took me on a fabulous drive around BC.

We saw glaciers, many interpretive centres, gorgeous vistas, wonderful places, I didn't want to leave. Though I may have changed my mind in winter brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr................

The Canadians are such friendly people.

I want to explore some more of this great country.
