After 24 hour trip from Poland (via Franfurt and SFO) we arrived to Los Angeles. It was the beginning of a 2 week trip of western states and 1 week in NYC then. As we got to LAX around midnight and still had to pick up a car after arriving we decided to choose some hotel that would be close to the airport, take some rest and start the real journey next day in the morning. The first place to see was Venice Beach.
We dedided to skip Los Angeles actually as we were more eager to see national parks than waste time in LA so after a quick stroll and a breakfast in Venice we headed to Beverly Hills just to drive through and breath in some luxury.
We drove through Beverly Hills to Hollywood. Well, maybe it is a tourist trap but you just gotta see it after seeing it on tv so many times and once it took you 24 hrs to fly in here.
- Pros:Dirty, smoggy, no real history.
- Cons:Beverly Hills area. Celebrity place.

Bulking up at Denny's I see. ;) Looking cold at Venice Beach and didn't realized how much like Fort Lauderdale it looked!
