Symi Town is set on the hills on the northern coast of Symi Island. It's said to be the most beautiful island of all Dodecanese Islands. I'm not sure about the whole island but the town is unbelievabe, really breathtaking. The narrow streets and colourful houses are magical. You just want to take a picture of every street, every corner, every door and window you see there. |
| | There are 2 parts of the town: the lower part with the port called Yialos and the upper - old town - part called Chorio. The whole place is really calm and relaxing, a bit laid back comparing to bigger cities in Rhodes Island. It's one of these enchanting little towns you would always want to come back to. And walking up the streets in Symi will always heal your soul, in case you're not feeling well... not sure about healing your muscles ;-) |
