MARI KITA...RAKYAT SINGAPURA...SAMA-SAMA MENUJU...

It is a city, an island and a country where I was born, and have spend a part of my childhood life there.
A beautiful, colourful and a safe country.
It is also very clean , not like in Holland, a place where I lived now, where I can find dog "cookies", on the pavement, on the streets, on the grass, almost everywhere...eurrkk.... bah!

Singapore is about 45km west to east, 25km north to south. While there are built-up, high-density areas all around the island, the main city area is in the south. Despite having no natural resources other than it's harbour and well- educated population, it's has become Southeast Asia's economic boomtown. With a population of 4.45 million including foreign resident. Chienese are the largest ethnic group, followed by Malays than Indians and maybe about 1% from others races.
With so many cultures and religions, there are an astounding number of celebrations in Singapore. Some have fixed dates, but Hindus, Muslim, and Chienese follow the lunar calenders that varies anually.

There are many interesting places to see and things to do for the tourist.
You can also discovered Singapore very easily and cheap in many ways.Either by bus, Taxis, MRT ( underground rails network) or even on foot.

One more thing, this unique land is also known as a food lover's heaven. There are a lots of magnificent hawker centres where you can taste all the delicious multicultural, traditional food. During my stay, mostly whereever I go , I see food,........I smell the glorious of food in the air!!....:))

I try to visit my LION CITY as much as I can.
To me, it is always an experience like no other.

Majulah Singapura!

On a stopover in Singapore we took a visa-free bus tour from the airport, but it was raining so hard we saw literally NOTHING. They drove us up to the top of a hill and said the view would be great when the rain stopped.
