"Proost Izmir !!!" Izmir by roza.v.welzenes

Izmir is an attractive cosmopolitan city with lot's of history and interesting place to visit. It is the 3rd largest city in Turkiye and the 2nd sea port.
There are so many Shops, Restaurants, Bistros and Bar, all spilling onto the street, and there are also many Disco's running into the early morning,which makes the night life in Izmir so lively, at all the time.
Izmir has a nice beaches also and there is also a market area, Bazaar.(kemer Alti) where you can spending hours and hours wandering around. I remembered, every morning, three of us, we went to the market and after we had a sight seeing a bit of the places, we bought some food and went back home, to have a breakfast together with the rest of our friends.

A vacation to Turkiye is not complete without going to a Turkish Bath.....:)).
The "Hamam" is the place, where I love to go. There is also a day for women, where no men are allowed..........yeah, I prefer that!!.......:)).
Even in Holland, in Rotterdam we have one too.

The "Hamam"is the place where I can totally relax my body and mind.
After having get myself throughly clean and had a massage, I can sit down and relax with a glass of warm Tea.

My favourite tea untill now is....... APPLE TEA !!.............."( Mmmmmm, zo lekker!.....:)

We also went for a drive, sight seeing inside and outside the boundaries of Izmir. Meet the local people and took a break at one of the coffee shop.
And guese......what I drink ????
