I attended College in Los Angeles and had a great time. There is art, montians, beaches, movies and more. However, I am not a big fan and the only people I know who like LA are the people who where born and raised there. So beware it take a special kind of person to love LA.

Working in LA is tough. Manly because of parking...just kidding...sort of. LA is expensive and a driving town. The bus system is okay, but most people drive. Traffic makes it hard to get around so living close to where you work is key in my opinion. LA is also expensive to live in so fine a place where you want to live and try to stay there. Each time you move your rent is going to jump up and you might not be able to afford the crap apartment you just moved out of. Now if money is no big deal, there are tons of great options in LA where you can create a wonder world and not even know the smog is out there.

LA is not the best vacation spot. Hollywood is still run down. Studio tours are expensive and most are boring and lame. Disney land is no where as good as Disney World. The beaches are dirty and not user-friendly and everything is so spead out you will spend over half your trip in the car. Its a terrible place for spring break, summer break and winter break.
