Well, the English seaside, just like the English life...beautiful in photos, and it can be surprisingly cold and hard, except for a few days in the Summer!
Different people come here for a whole range of bizarre reasons, and because of this, I would not be comfortable to live there - but hey, I don't know for sure, because I've only ever visited on day trips!
A very nice town to visit for a day - so much to see, whether you like shops, antiques, bars & cafes, architecture, history, or whatever.
My own self-established tradition is to buy a cone of chips on the pier and feed them by hand to the huge seagulls who fly around in a big circle then swoop down to take them from your fingers!

I have a very special friend who lives here, too... |
