My first Trip Across the Ocean, why not Paris!

My first "real " trip overseas was to Paris. Always dreamed about going, so it was a dream. Went with work, so It was a wirlwind trip, short and sweet,saw Notre Dame, The louve, Effiel Tower, stopped for a coffee and dinner all in one day! But got my senses flowing and it was no looking back, I want to see it all. I have been back twice and its still one of my favorite cities! Dont believe what anyone says about the people, they are nice and there language is beautiful, how can you just not love it there!

Cant get Tired of going to Hawaii!

My Daughter and I love to go to Hawaii. We have been so many times that I have lost count, should of bought a time share. I have never found beaches more beautiful, still looking, and the weather is always perfect all year round. Maui and Kauai are tied for my favorite islands. Dont miss the trip to Hana, been several times. Have the coconut ice cream, its to die for. You will see thru my travels that I love to eat ice cream , gelato, if its in the ice cream family, it all counts.

Love Music

The Gorge Ampitheatre

I love to see live Music, and its even funner to travel to see live bands preform. I am a big fan of the Dave Matthews Band, and have seem them MANY times. My favorite shows were in Sydney, saw them on a layover, two times, they were playing down the street at a small venue from my hotel. Saw Dave Acoustic in London with my daughter this past May, that was a great show. And one of my favorites is at the Gorge in Washington state, its about 2 1/2 hours from Seattle, its a outdoor venue of the rim of the gorge river, you stay the weekend and camp, its a blast.

Growing up in Vermont

I grew up in a small town called Warren in Vermont. Our closest neighbor was a good 20 minute walk, and the closest store was a little general store that was a 30 minute drive. i learned to ski when I was 6, I think the snow and cold winters help me not be such a wimp when it comes to these cold days here in chicago. I still go back from time to time, Its only an hour or so flight from chicago.

I'm really jealous! Wish I had benefits that allowed me to see the World. I would definately be (over) using those benefits. BTW...I love United from a former NWA customer. Cheers!

Hey, I can´t remember how much it cost as the travel agent bought it as part of a package, sorry. But I took the night train, not the best, but gets you there!
