"The most friendly people" Prefecture of Lesvos by ati_la

We went to Lesvos by boat from Ayvalik, Turkey. 6 adults and 3 children. We stayed for 4 days in this lovely island. Our hotel was Blue Sea Hotel near the harbor. It was not a luxury hotel, but we enjoyed to stay there. We rented a van and drove all around the island. We met the most friendly, helpful people there. Almost everyone welcomed us.

The fish at Betty's

We fell in love with Molivos. Although we stayed in Mitilini we went to Molivos every day to have dinner. We ate at Betty's place. The food are delicious. Betty was very nice lady.

A Petrified Tree

We went to Sigri to visit petrified woods. It's at the westernmost of the island. Contrary to the other parts of the island it is rare to see a single tree there. We visited the museum. It was interesting to see petrified trees like marble.
