Agree with all the other comments. This hotel was wonderful, immaculatly kept grounds, pools and services. Standard of room (1102) at the bottom by the main pool area superb. Staff excellent, always smiling and helpful. Food generally good but highly recommend the Fish restaurant at the bottom of the hotel overlooking the sea. Number of tips..... the local supermarket is much cheaper than the minibar, so go there for water soft drinks crisps and small gifts. They also sell snorkling gear much cheaper than in the hotel. Across the road on the next junction by what looks like Brighton Pavillion !!! there is a off-licence. Wine here was 1/3rd of the price in the hotel at £5 a bottle. Most of the gifts are tat in the shops and serious hassle.
We took a days snorkling with Ocean explorers who have an office in the hotel at the bottom of the complex. This was a really good day out with excellent stopping places, lunch and drinks thrown in.
The hotel when we were there was full of Russian and Eastern Europeans who were at times boorish and rude to everyone espcially the staff and towels reserving sunbeds started going out at 6am!!! The sun goes down after 3.30/4pm so get up early to grab your best spot. The little beaches were always very full by 8am. The bottom pool area had good staff and an excellent island cafe.
I would highly recommend the Waterfalls for a relaxing chill out holiday.
Be warned the airport departure lounge is cramped very full and expensive. Its being replaced but when...??
