When we reach the Palace of Versailles, we saw 2 queues - one very long queue for the entrance tickets and a very short one for guided tour of the Palace plus some state rooms and bedrooms. The price was quite substantive (I forgot how much it was). Anyway, we bought the guided tour tickets because we don't want to wait long. However, the guided tour was not really so great and the additional rooms shown were nothing special. We went through the same areas as the unguided tour, but they probably paid less for it.

Alternative: If you plan to visit Versaille Palace, try to buy the tickets in advance, not at the Palace itself.

When I bought the ticket to see a cabaret show at Moulin Rouge, the price include a bottle of champagne. At the price I was paying then, I thought I would at least get a bottle (a 0.75 liter) of cheap champagne or sparkling wine. Instead, I got a glass of champagne and I saw the waiters serving from a small bottle (0.375 liter size). The waiters didn't even leave the small bottle with me, but continue to fill my friend's glass from the same bottle. I suspected that I was entitled to the small bottle but when I tried to talk to the waiters, they pretended not to understand and rudely brushed me aside.

At Least Do This: If you decide to go to Moulin Rouge and bought entry ticket with 1 bottle of small champagne, make sure you get the whole bottle (0.375 liter size). If you want to order other beverages, ask the price first because you might ended paying more than usual. Keep an eye on the waiters because they can come and go in a flash!
Alternative: Well, there is the Lido and Crazy Horse cabaret establishments. I heard that these are better than Moulin Rouge, but I cannot guarantee if this fact was true.
