Jw Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpu: Beautiful Hotel near Star Hill Complex J W Marriott Review

I've stayed here once and it was a great 4-star hotel with all the luxurious and comfortable facilities to satisfy a fussy business man.

It is very close to the Star Hill Shopping Mall (next door), Lot 10 and Sungai Wang Shopping Complexes. Also 5 - 10 minutes to China town (Petaling Street) and other business centres and entertainment areas.

An hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the hotel is located in the golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur, amidst the bustling business centre and major tourist attractions.

It is a 10-minute drive from the Putra World Trade Centre, within walking distance to the Malaysia Tourism Center (MTC), Suria KLCC Shopping Centre, Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and Kuala Lumpur Tower.

Unique Qualities: The Hard Rock Cafe (the Malaysian chain) is located within the premises of this Hotel. You can enjoy western food and rock music, party till the wee hours of the night and then crawl back to your room in the Concorde Hotel.

The Concorde Hotel also have its own entertainment lounges and night clubs playing other genres of music for your enjoyment, in case Rock music is not to your liking!

Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur: Luxury Hotel in City Centre Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur Review

I had a great time in this grand hotel. I find the service to be professional and friendly.

Best of all, the hotel is just next to the KLCC [Kuala Lumpur City Centre] Mall. During the day and night, I got to fully enjoy the KLCC Mall. The KLCC Mall was great & truly convenienet - there were beauty and hair saloons where I went for some pampering treatments, modern cineplexes to watch the latest movies, great restaurants to enjoy the excellent Malaysian food, lots of shops, boutiques, and department stores for great shopping, and finally, a private medical clinic for me to do my annual medical check-up.

Unique Qualities: The room was posh and comfortable. The 2 double beds in the twin sharing rooms were an unexpected luxury, and the large marble bathroom was a joy for me. The swimming pool was clean and it has a nice view of the skyline since it was NOT located on the ground floor (I cannot remember what floor it was located on!).
