Restaurant Name: Esquire Kitchen
Esquire Kitchen is an asian restaurant that serves good chinese food in a clean and comfortable environment. There are several branches or franchises around the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor area located mainly in popular shopping malls, to cater to shoppers with hungry stomachs! The good thing about these restaurants are that they have nice pictures of the dishes in the front of the restaurant and in their Menu, which makes it easy for anyone to order food.
Favorite Dish: The steam bun is excellent to eat with saucy dishes. The stir-fried vegetables with sambal belacan or with garlic are good and yummy.

My Thai Restaurant: Excellent Thai Food in StarHill Complex

Restaurant Name: My Thai Restaurant
My Thai restaurant is an elegantly-designed yet cosy restaurant, serving excellent Thai food, and located on the lower ground floor of the Star Hill Shopping Centre by the Bukit Bintang Road. The service is good and prompt but can be slow sometimes - probably, it is not to be intrusive to the guests. The staffs are friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and drinks. The restaurant has a good view of the plaza area where you can do a bit of people watching. Overall, the restaurant has a good atmosphere and ambience. It is a nice place to go for a romantic date or special dinner/lunch with the family.
Favorite Dish: My Thai serves good quality food and yummy fruit cocktails. My favorite dishes were the Tom Yam seafood soup, spicy chicken dishes, fried fish with spicy sauce, durian dessert, and the Patthya - fried rice noodles with shrimps, eggs and peanuts. OK - all the food are good. But however, be prepared to pay heftily at the end of your meal. The food and service are not cheap but then you're paying for the high quality, the classy ambience and the premium rent in the Star Hill Shopping Centre!

Little Penang Cafe: Penang Cuisine in KL

Restaurant Name: Little Penang Cafe
Penang cuisine is famous among Malaysians as being one of the best, most varied, tastiest tasting food anywhere. So when the original owner of this restaurant opened to franchise on Penang's famous hawker cuisine, it was an instant hit amongst KL-ites (residents of KL) and everyone else in the state of Selangor; that also include me! I first tried out the food of this Little Penang Cafe at the KLCC branch. At the first try of the popular Nasi Lemak, I was hooked. Whenever I returned home from Vienna to Malaysia, I will always try to make my way to one of the restaurant's franchise. Anyway, you can find Little Penang Cafe restaurants in all the main shopping malls of Kuala Lumpur. Go ahead and try out the best local food around.
Favorite Dish: Asam Laksa, Prawn Mee/Noodles, Nasi Lemak, Rojak, and everything else that is on the Menu!
