For trekking fanatics!

Sapa is in the Northern part of Vietnam, only a few miles from the Chinese border. Itīs got the highest mountain in Vietnam, "phanxipan". Itīs wonderful for trekking and the views are absolutely breathtaking. For me itīs the nicest part of the country.
Me dressed up as a native from one of the local tribes, very sexy I do say...this picture then appeared in the Financial times over there ha ha.
The view from my fabulous hotel. I canīt remember the name of it, but it is outside the village and consists of little private chalets. The views are spectacular. Itīs for chilling out, though you are only 5 minutes walk from the town and the nightlife.

Missed this on our pass as not right time of year weather-wise. You sure look like you had a wonderful sunny time.

Hi again Nicky, how much did you pay for your train ticket for the soft berth? Did you take the night or day train? i took the train from Mui Ne Beach to Hoi An, it was 20 hours-it was a soft berth, not too soft but we survived!
