The abandoned village in the south of the island.

We stopped off on the sand dunes during our island tour and got a view of this village which has now been deserted due to it's remoteness. The local fisherman who lived here moved to the capital Sal Rei to live nearer to the other inhabitants on the island. Our local guide told us that the houses still belong to the fisherman but they are now looking a bit worse for wear.
