Ok.... Plane lands. Get off the plane and melt in the sun, the runway is in a field, an old fire engin greets you with the unstable stairs to get out the plane. Inside the airport is the most stuffy/human smell as all us English pile in to grab our suitcases. For £1 a gambian will get your cases and take them to your coach, then another £1 for the man who puts them on the roof (the roof!!!! how cool!) If you travel with the Gambian Experiance yo get a hand fan (great so souvenir) and ice cold water.

Leave in your coach, drive around the cows and whatever else fancies walking in the raod. The first time we went to The Gambia we loved the scenery and the people, the odd goat on the top of a lorry!
