Many people have some of their roots here, and I am included. It was neat to visit a place where my ancestors had been. I go to an Oktoberfest near my hometown about every year, so I had a little taste of the friendly German atmosphere that I'd experience. The food, shops, and people were great! My dad especially enjoys the traditional German mug I got for him.
