We stayed at this hotel in May, 2007. We paid a walk in negotiated price of $20/night including breakfast. The room was mid sized with a very large bath and ammenities included A/C, TV, fridg, and full breakfast buffet. The breakfast was one of the bests we've had anywhere in Asia. Room was clean, staff was helpful and attentive. This hotel also has a pool which we enjoyed and also massage on the premises for $6/hr. Internet was additional but can not remember the charge, not significant though.
Unique Qualities: Within the Citadel, directly across the street from the Imperial Palace.
Great pool, large landscaped grounds, terrific breakfast buffet. Best of all, in a great neighborhood away from the downtown hotel area. Great to enjoy the shops/restaurants in the area w/o other tourists.
