Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that the Phillipines is indeed a paradise. I was actually thinking that all the PR Wow Philippines has been saying is just that - a press release. I'm so ashamed of that kind of thinking. Now, I'm such a lover of this country that I can profess my undying love for it. Now na.
When I saw the islands of El Nido, I made up my mind to tour the Philippines first before expanding my destinations outside the country. El Nido had me at first sight (that's a big deal since I really don't believe in love at first sight).
The water is blue. Real blue. Shining, shimmering under the hot summery rays of the El Nido sun. The islands are meters apart, standing proud and claiming territory over the waters. The view is splendid. Every part of it.
You know what, my description can't even describe the place and the experience. Too bad. So you just got to experience it yourself.
For something like this, a person needs to spend lots. It's an expensive escape. But if you have the money, spend it in a worthy place like this.
You can do lots of things in El Nido. Swim, dive, snorkel, kayak, whatever your beachlover heart desires. Everything is within your reach. And one thing more, El Nido has the best staff in the whole wide world, er, in the whole wide Philippines. A guest will be pampered to the max.
You really get what you pay for.
