The BICYCLE city | Several interesting ways to mark your own... |
Everyone arriving in Amsterdam can't help seeing the amazing amoung of bicycles - watch out not to get overdriven.
It is a way of life here. No matter if you are a businessman or a student. The streets are so narrow and old and there are lots of canals and bridges that you just can't make it with a car (all of them). By a bicycle it's faster.
Take a look at the different paintings and decorations - only in Amsterdam! |
| Some people living in boats had beautiful terraces |
| | The canal city This is something I've also only seen in Amsterdam (canals I've seen, naturally) - people living in the beautiful house boats.
Some of them grow plants and flowers on the roof and have a kind of a garden or terrace with table and chairs there. Lovely! |
The city of happy people Just to end this description; I cannot say anything else than come and see it yourselves! Come and FEEL it yourselves. There is something very special in Amsterdam; like is in Dublin.
Merry happy people, always wanting to help you, always willing to serve you. Always smiling to you. Speaking unbeliavably excellent English - even the pronounciation.
Taste kangaroo meat in a restaurant! | | | Lovely mini terrace-bar somewhere in Amsterdam |
