Lots of people, maybe you too, believe that Mykonos is a party island.Ok this is one option.Through this page i'll try to give you my option... Mykonos is the most romantic place i've ever been.An island that has EVERYTHING on any range of prices...

Old port (paleo limani)

This is the old port of Mykonos.Locals name it Gialos (yalos).Is the first place you walk on the island as most of ships still get to this port.Also is the closest a taxi can get you,in manto square.Nice place for morning cafes and breakfasts (my preference is Kazarma) and for late afrernoon after sunset,lot of taverns and restaurants (i prefer Kamares next to taxis).

Pros and Cons

Pros:You find everything best food,swim,accomodation cheap and expensive
Cons:Bad reputation....Mykonos isn't only gays or parties...
In a nutshell:The place where sun is sunshine on a different way

We will make a day stopover during the Boat trip, so after reading this I am so jealous! I wish we had more time there (it remind me Ibiza! the best island ever! LOL ok I can not say that, as I had not been in MMykonos to compare!)
