Bloody cold place

Last came for training in Nov 2003. It was really really cold. Came again early May 2007 on business. It was cold and wet for first two days. After that it was all sunny and bright.
It was still mid spring, and flower was blooming everywhere, even on the grass area along the roads. This is most interesting to me, as I don't see this ever in Malaysia. Didn't recall seeing this in Melbourne also.

Petrol Price

Petrol Price is damn high. During my stay, it was like 3.07, 3.09 and yesterday I found it was 3.19

USD 3.19 per gallon
=RM 3.19 x 3.44 /3.8
=RM 2.89 per litre

Cool Toy

A colleague asked to buy the IROBOT Roomba. Really Really Cool stuff here. The whole box is quite big, can't fit into the big bag that i have. Pre-Testing the unit
According to colleague, it is selling at RM2K back home.
This one is discovery model, selling at 280 + 6% tax. So comes to about USD300
I guess the Malaysian Custom would want to tax me when I land there, so it could be
300 x 3.4 = 1020 + MsiaTax. Still worth it.

But a note of caution, usage outside USA voids the warranty.

The IROBOT tech support gave wrong info. He said the power supply is 110-240V compatible, just only have to get a US-UK plug adapter. I checked and the Power Supply is 110Vac only. Damn, now have to go Thye Huat to get a 22Vdc Power Supply. Or step down transformer, as the unit is a "Fast Charger".
