"Ipoh - Revisited" Ipoh by mtaiwai

Decided to take the new Avanza for a spin to check out how fast it can go. Ipoh is the natural choice, since I used to loiter in Ipoh during weekends back in the Uni days.

Started from house in Penang around 10.40am and reached Public Pusing Restaurant around 12.30pm. Just in time for lunch.

The place is still as crowded as the last time I was there (few years back).

Waited for roughly 30minutes before the fisrt dish landed. But the wait was worth the while.

Entrance

Was introduced to Kek Lok Tong by CB Lim few years back. Back then, not too many people go. This time however, the cave IS teeming with people!

Still, commercialization has not seeped in. Thank goodness.

The lake in the inner opening is under renovation.

• Pros:Good Food. Good one-way streets.
• Cons:Not much shopping
