Me, my boyfriend and my mom spent one week here in the same room. Bakotu is maybe the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Not because of the quality or location but because of the atmosphere, staff and beauty. The hotel is in the middle of a garden and the poolarea is also magnificent. Not big but cozy. Just hope they would take better care of the pool..
Everything we ate in the poolrestaurant, was good. There was some dancing/drumming-show almost every evening.
Bakotu has a small market in it and the beach is only about 100 meters away.
Unique Qualities: There is also some animals in the hotelgarden. Besides dogs, lizards and birds there are some VERY NOISY frogs that really may keep you awake so I suggest to take some earplugs along.
