I originally came to Nigeria on a job assignment. The assignment was to be for a two year rotation, but here I am 4 years later.

I find the culture to be very interesting and the more I learned about it the more there is to learn. The people are friendly and curious and will go out of their way to assist you. Whether you are looking for an address, which is always a challenge in Lago, or needing to buy goods in the market place, someone is always there to assist.

Nigeria has a bad reputation around the world. Whether it deserves it or not I can say but I do know that everyone I have come in contact with has been very charming and gracious.
