Vilanculos....Well I have been there several times now and generally stay with a friends family... they have great knowledge of the area as well have a fluent english speaking local to help us out... There house there is a main house consisting of two rooms, a tv room with satelite tv, kitchen and large veranda. Then there is a storage slash guest slash fishing cottage slash laundry room that is a double story and is much larger thanthe main house. Each bedroom is en-suite. Then towards the back of the property there are 4 fishermans Rooms each with two beds. They share 2 bathrooms and a private kitchen. They also have a small swimming pool. the house isnt the greatest build quality but its great for me!!!! We stayed in one of the fishermans cottages and the fridges where FULLY stocked.

Well my main aim was fishing- and the fishing is trully great!! We caught cudas, kakaap, king mackeral,barracuda and kingfish and one or two others that i cant remember... We were fishing off a small boat so we stayed close inshore!! We saw loads of schooling, surface feeding tuna,some well over 10kgs but were unable to entice any!!!

There are many places to eat... the pizza is really good at the pizza restuarant(cant remember the name) that is vitually on the beach... The baobab is also pretty good chow and is one of the better places to socialise!!!the best crab and spring rolls are availabe at Agui negra... it is awesome... so good you WILL want seconds....!!! the food at the conference centre is apparently great but wasnt able to try it.... hope this helps....
