Warnings Or Dangers: Water?

There is no drinkable water in Heraclion,you must buy bottled water instead.Why rest of Crete has good water and its capital hasn't is a mystery to me. Generally it is a safe city.I often leave my car unlocked and nothing happens.People tend to trust each other here!
