Amargosa Valley

Traveling from Death Valley National Park to Las Vegas, we made a brief stop at Amargosa Valley. Amargosa Valley is located just less than the halfway point to our destination, at the intersections of Highways 95 and 373. This place made for a nice short break. We took the opportunity to stretch our legs and to get some ice cream that tasted wonderful in the desert heat. There are not a lot of points of civilization along the road here and this one was well timed for us. Amargosa Valley did not seem to offer much more than a few places to take a short break from a drive, but then that is all we needed.
