The historic costal town of Plymouth is located to the south of Boston. Plymouth is where the Pilgrims settled in 1620. This attractive town is rich in historical architecture. Here, you can walk on the ground that the Pilgrims came to call home.

Haven't been here yet, but I have ancestors roleplayed by actors in the original family home! Thankfully descendents had decided to move west :-)

Ha ha... when I visited Plymouth, I too was underwhelmed by Plymouth Pebble... er...Rock. They did say before it was protected, visitors used to chisel off pieces as souvenirs. Maybe it was significantly bigger 300 years ago.
