This has a great location right off Union Square and within good transportation.
Too bad they closed the Compass Rose a few years ago. This was an upscale bar in the lobby where everyone was welcome. Music, usually jazz, played almost nightly. Its detailed woodwork was a work of art. People still come in looking for the elegant bar.
