Russian Gulch State Park

Russian Gulch State Park
Russian Gulch State Park is located on California's northern coast. It is only two miles north of Mendocino. The park stretches along the rugged coast for over 7,600 feet while occupying 1,100 acres. From the coast the park sneaks inland into forested areas, where a hiking trail leads to a 36-foot high waterfall.

We have a Devil’s Punch Bowl too! Although it is not nearly as pretty as this place is and has a neat falls. Except you really have to hike to see it. Lovely page with beautiful beating waves and waterfalls. Very lovely!

That is an impressive place and I feel sorry that I missed it when I was in California! Thanks for the excellent little page!

I saw the updated page and couldn't resist! If you want to check out some interesting off-the-beaten-path areas in California, see my Elkhorn, Moss Landing, and Castroville tips.... sorry about the incorrect town!
