"Golden Sunset - under construction" Calatagan by utchie

Calatagan Travel Guide: 5 reviews and 53 photos

IT REALLY IS..

We waited for the famous sunset for hours. We could have dipped into the pool, play sports, but no, we chose to wait for the sunset by the breakwater with nothing to do but relax and take pictures.

It was all worth the wait. We never knew the sun sets that fast. It was funny how we panicked because we never took time to set up the cameras. I just had my fourth shot and I noticed the sun is gone.

I think I had a pretty good shot of the sunset. After all, I only used an ordinary camera, no settings adjusted. Just point and click.

What made watching the sunset spectacular is watching it with friends. It was quiet, relaxing and we all felt the child within us. Waiting eagerly for the sun to set and then feeling a bit sad when it all happened to fast.

Luckily for us, the sun will rise again the next day..

Our weekend getaway..

This weekend was for bonding and relaxation for us. Well, we did bond - a lot. But did we relaxed? Hmm.. NO!

There were so many things to do. An overnight stay is definitely not enough. We did as much as we can to maximize our stay but our time was too short.

Nevertheless, we still had so much fun. That weekend may have exhausted at physically but we were mentally and emotionally relaxed anyway.

The picture at the side is the Serendipity Spa. One of the things we never got to do. =(

Please see my tips for more info on THINGS TO DO.
