Miscellaneous: The family who live at POKDARWIS shelter usually can arrange trekking food; otherwise bring rice, instant noodles, sugar, tea, coffee, eggs, biscuit some tins of fish or meat (and a can opener!), fruit and anything else that keeps you ticking. It’s better to buy most of these supplies in Curup, where it’s cheaper and there’s more choice. Take plenty of water, matches, a flashlight and a stove.
