    Getting TO/AROUND: Fiat have struggled in recent years. One striking thing I've noticed in Italy in recent years is the automatic loyalty of Italians to Italian motor vehicles is nowhere near as strong as it used to be.
    From a British point of view it's not all bad, because British cars are far more common in Italy than they used to be: the Nissan Micra must be the most popular, with Land-Rover and Jaguar common sights. The first two cars on the accompanying picture are made in Britain!
