"Siniloan: Home to the Magnificent Falls" Siniloan by glendzlopez

Siniloan is a cozy small town in Laguna. It has a natural charm and visitors can't get enough of this town that they keep coming back! The town is famous because it offers visitors a taste of five or more waterwalls in a single climb to Mt. Romelo. The climb itself takes about 2-hours on a leisurely pace or if you were a good trekker you can probably make it to the summit at about an hour or less.

A campsite is located near the Buruwisan Falls where you can spend a night or two amidst the river. There is a local store where you can buy basic necessities but do bring yours if you are a bit sensitive. You can likewise ask the store owner to prepare meals for you and your group if you are not up to cooking.

The Buruwisan Falls is mostly popular but the Lanzones Falls is my absolute favorite. It has a rather small pool but i love it immensely! Further to your right from the campsite lies the Batya-batya waterfalls. It is about a 15-20 minute hike-swim combo. These waterfalls are from the Sierra Madre Mountain Range.

Getting Here:

From Maniila, get a bus bound for Sta. Cruz, Laguna. This bus will pass by the towns of Calamba, Los Banos, Bay, Pila, and Victoria, Laguna. From Sta. Cruz, take a jeepney to Siniloan. From the town proper, hire a tricycle to bring you to the drop-off point to Mt. Romelo.
