We're back. We landed on Monday (8/6) and didn't leave the resort until the day before we flew home (8/11). For that reason the majority of the tips are going to be about the resort but we did manage to get lucky with an awesome tour the one day we did leave. |
|  | Gran Bahia Principe (before) We are staying at the Gran Bahia Principe which just opened earlier this year. If you frequent any other travel sites you might know that this place has received very poor reviews with people saying they weren't ready to open yet. Hopefully all issues will be resolved by the time we get there.

| | Gran Bahia Principe (after) Well, it wasn't as bad as some made it out to be. But, its definitely not finished. The good news is that the only things wrong were minor aesthetic problems (for the most part) and that the customer service from the staff more than made up for it. |
