Hong Kong is a very intensely populated city, so this is not a good place to go if you are looking for peace and quiet. It is also very vertical, given that there are big mountains on every side, and huge office towers and apartment blocks built on every piece of flat land. It can be quite fun if you are looking for big city comforts and especially if you want to experience Chinese culture. The city is built around a nice harbour, which is best seen at night time, as it is almost always very hazy in the day. Make sure you take plenty of money, especially if you want to experience the fun side of the bright city. |
