The Hong Kong airport is the most amazing I have ever seen. It's HUGE. There are 7 stories inside this airport terminal. It's clean, it's modern and it's beautiful!

There are incredible opportunities for shopping. There was an incredible selection. The down side it that most shops close around 11:00PM so if you're stuck there overnight like we were all you could do was window shop until they opened.

There is a shuttle from the airport to the city. We were unable to take it to go exploring since we were there for an overnight in the airport. Friends have told me it's an impressive city.

Hong Kong Airport Shops

There are also a huge number of restaurants to choose from. A map is needed to truly navigate this terminal. Suprisingly, there is no McDonald's there. One did exist but for some unknown reason it was closed.

Once it got busy in the morning the huge numbers of people that were flying into and out of this airport was impressive.

Mountains

This Air Canada jet sits in the foreground of some very beautiful and impressive mountains. If I ever fly this route again, I'd like to spend some time in Hong Kong. I love mountains and I'm sure there are some beautiful places in this city.
