My Husband and I stayed at this hotel in November 2006. After reading the reviews I was very worried to say the least but When we arrived I was really pleased with everything that I saw. Granted the room maybe could have done with a little updating but I was not in New York to stare at the bedroom wallpaper. The staff were extremely pleasant and polite and could not have done more to help us. The location of the hotel was perfect, when crossing the road outside the hotel the Empire State Building is directly in front of you and Macy's is just up the road.
I have to recommend the diner attached to the hotel also, serves beautiful food at very good prices.
Overall this hotel was excellent and just added to a fantastic holiday in the best city in the world.
