San Fransisco!

by sabe - last update: Apr 22, 2003

Fishemans Wharf, where everyone just has to go.
I went to San Fransisco twice this year. Both times were completely different from one another. The first time I just went there over the day, drove there from Sunnyvale California, had some shrimps in a paperbox, saw the sea-lions and left with some cheap souvenirs. A week later on the other hand I went to stay at the Top of the Mark! A luxurious hotel with a view over the whole city. I had lunch at a lovely restaurant in the wharf, went to see Alcatraz and finished off the day at the panorama jazz-bar at the top of the hotel.
Splendid both times though, since San Fransisco is one of the nicest American cities I've ever been to!!

Pros:"So many things, shrimp?"
Cons:"The sea-lions really don't smell like roses."
In A Nutshell:"I love it. Period."

Your words about SF really make me smile. So true, about the sea lions. Wow, you did some good travelling in my home state :-)

Nice work, Sabe the Babe! San Francisco IS one of the nicest cities in the USA. And the morgue was interesting out on "The Rock".

Good tips on SF... The Mark Hopkins is definitely one of the best places to stay in the city... sounds like you had a great time.
