An Hour and a Half in Paris...Just Passing Through | The Eiffel Tower,Paris,France. |
OK s maybe its a little corny...but I wanted to see it..The Eiffel Tower...
I was transiting through Paris from a visit with friends in Switzerland and on my way to Belgium..I needed to change train stations....I arrived into Gare De Lyon from Bern.....and I was departing from Gare Du Nord for Brussels and eventually that day my final stop was going to be Ieper....or Ypres...where I was to spend three days exploring the town and the surrounding area.
I could have used the Metro....however I thought it would be fun to hire a taxi and drive to the Tower before my departure for Brussels...
The little Parisian detour cost me I think about 3o Euros but whatever...ya only live once right...and I'm not sure when or even if I will ever return to Paris..
We drove to through thick traffic and I only stayed long enough to take a couple of pictures and off we were to the Gare du Nord... |
