Don't Leave Without Me

My travel experiences go back a ways-- my first flights were on an Eastern Airlines DC-3 and a TWA Super Conny. Southeast Asia is my favorite part of the world. I've been to Tanzania, Somalia, the Maldives and walked along the Korean Demilitarized Zone. And lots more besides. I've lived in Japan and South Korea, the USA and Canada. Much of my time is spent in southeast Asia and goes back to the late 60's. I've Traveled on the back of pickup trucks and overcrowded, ancient river ferries in Burma. I've been up close to most of the "Big 5" in Kenya and Tanzania, and walked where the Queen of Sheba is alleged to have walked in Yemen. I've been to all 10 Canadian provinces and the three Territories. Been to all 50 states. Got lots of stories, some funny, some sad, piles of photos. I enjoy the people and the food I encounter on my visits--Fruit Bat Stew in Mauritius and Sea Slugs in China. How about roast or grilled locusts and a veritable cornucopia of insects from a pushcart in Thailand? I look forward to reading about your experiences and maybe trading ideas. Will we cross paths? I hope so. Chok dee (Thai for "good luck").
