"Quite possibly the most beautiful part of Oz" State of Western Australia by kranstonakov

WA is huge, at times deserted, and commonly forgotten by the backpackers. The sheer size can be offputting, and to be fair we ended up staying longer than planned due to neccesity. We actually ended up in Halls creel WA because our car broke down on the way to Perth and we had no money to get ther (Or SE Asia for that matter) So we got a job working in a hotel (The Kimberley Hotel) and did 75 hours a week for a month, then we took a 45 hour bus ride to perth and onto Thailand.

looking back it was a highlight of the trip, it was great to get an insight into Aboriginal life, we sociolised with the Abos, got drunk with them and listened to the stories. All being said, we robbed them Abos blind, they bought our broken car for more than we paid for it in Sydney!
