Ko pagnan is madness, theres no other word to describe it! the boat from the mainland is frequent and a beautiful trip, there was a massive storm over the islands on our trip over and it was amazing. When you dock at Thongsala you get the feel of a real bustling wee tropical island resort. Theres plenty happening and loads of wee bars along the front. You wont last long at the port, reps from accommodation all over the island will be waiting to snap you up. So dont be pre0booking on the mainland, the more people you cut out the less you pay! Ask to see a brochure if your not sure but everywhere is usually the same. A magical island were the backpackers run the show, the longer you stay, the more everyone gets to know you, the better time you have and the cheaper everything is. we stayed in Chaloklam for amonth and its probably the best place ive ever been. No it definitely is the best place ive ever been.
