Great page! You've inspired me to want to see Mali for myself. I love all your photos but especially those of the people, and of those, the children :-)
a great page on a very interesting place. i don't think i could handle the hot crowded markets either, i like space! a cruise on the river in sunset, if boring, would still be relaxing and what i need right now!
Great local custom tips and pics and the story about the little boy holding your hand while walking along banks of the Niger River is so sweet! Thanks for sharing.
I have a special affection for Mali - mostly for the wonderful music :) But there is much more :) Amazing Djenné's Mosque and picturesque market! Would not want to miss Bandigara fall and Dogon country as well. And oh, loved the mud huts and granaries! :)
Enjoyed another little tour through your pics and tips.
I leave for Tunisia in a few hours, trying to tear myself away from your Mali pages, it is top of my list after my return trip to Ghana in Sept.
To visit Djenne's market sounds wonderful and to walk along the river in Segou too! Great tips and photos Elisa! I would very much like to visit Mali one day!
Good customs tips!
