So many highlights in a so small country . . . And not only desert + archaeological remains, Jordan is also crusaders' castles, hiking in green valleys and sunset walks by the sea.

Petra for sure is a world wonder not to miss but stars-watching in the solitude of the desert can be as amazing as reaching the treasure after crossing the Siq

So many kind people in this "hot area" . . . Jordans are quiet, peaceful people and very welcoming, always with a smile.

Nice people, impressive cultural heritage, good food and better beer :-)

Jordan is a country not to miss.

What an excellent overview page! I have good but very vague memories of Jordan so have very much enjoyed reviving them through your tips & photos, and discovering some places I didn't get to see :-)

This is a fantastic page, Elisa!! Great reading with excellent photography! Only visited Petra as a day trip from Amman. Would like to explore Wadi Rum for its magnificent scenery and lovely Nabetean inscriptions :)

Excellent overview of Jordan! I especially like the fortresses in the dessert. Haven't seen much on my overland trip in the 80s. So thanks for taking me there again virtually.
